ELEAGUE Premier 2018: Team Liquid and Mousesports in Playoffs
The group stage of the ongoing CS:GO event ELEAGUE: Premier 2018 has concluded, with four teams being eliminated and four teams advancing to the playoffs stage. The competition will continue on July 28th, with Astralis, Natus Vincere, mousesports and Team Liquid taking part in it.
The teams will compete in a single-elimination playoffs bracket with best-of-three semifinals and best-of-five grand finals. In the first series Astralis will compete with mousesports. Although Astralis are obvious favorites not only of this series but of the entire event, their head-to-head results with mouz look quite even. Earlier this year Astralis defeated mousesports twice at IEM Sydney 2018, tied at ECS Season 5 Europe and ESL Pro League 7 Europe, as well as lost to them at ELEAGUE Major 2018. Astralis currently are the strongest CS:GO team in the worlds with multiple champion titles under their belt, but maybe mousesport are the ones who can upset them once again. The second series will be played between Natus Vincere and Team Liquid. This year the teams played only two series against each other – Na`Vi defeated Liquid at ELEAGUE Major 2018 and lost to them at ESL Pro League 7 Finals. However, Na`Vi currently are in a great shape – they are on a winning streak and also managed to win three LAN events in a row.
