ELEAGUE to Host a $150,000 CS:GO Event This Month
ELEAGUE has announced a $150,000 Counter-Strike: Global Offensive LAN event that will take place at the end of this month. Among participants are FaZe Clan, Cloud9, BIG and compLexity Gaming.
The event will be held on January 25-27 at ELEAGUE Arena in Atlanta, United States. Four participating teams will compete in a double-elimination bracket with all matches being best-of-three. The studio will be open for public during the last two days of the event.
Last year ELEAGUE hosted two massive CS:GO events – Major: Boston 2018 and Premier 2018, each of them featured a $1,000,000 prize pool. The company noted that the Invitational event uses an experimental format, which is not meant to replace the other formats.
