Virtus.pro bench ICY and promote b1st to main roster
Virtus.pro have announced that ICY has been moved to the bench, ending his ten-month tenure on the active roster. The organization stated that they remain open to exploring different options for the player’s future, though no specific details have been shared yet.
b1st has been promoted to the starting lineup to take ICY’s place. He was initially set to undergo a trial period but couldn’t do so at a recent tournament due to roster regulations. Now, he officially joins Virtus.pro’s active squad.
ICY joined Virtus.pro last December alongside FL4MUS following a major roster overhaul. However, during his time on the team, Virtus.pro struggled to find consistency — their best result being a 5–6th place finish at IEM Katowice.
The past few months have been challenging for Virtus.pro: the team failed to qualify for the upcoming Major and was forced to miss ESL Pro League due to visa issues. Recent roster changes continue the organization’s rebuild — Perfecto recently took over as in-game leader, while tO0RO replaced electroNic.
The current Virtus.pro lineup consists of FL1T, fame, Perfecto, tO0RO, and b1st.
