FaZe Clan: AdreN Stands In, YNk Becomes New Coach

The 28-years-old Kazakh player Dauren "AdreN" Kystaubayev has joined FaZe Clan as a stand-in. Beyond that, Janko "YNk" Paunović has become the team’s new coach.

AdreN has signed a short-term contract with FaZe Clan, he is supposed to be playing for the organization until the end of IEM Katowice Major, which will be held this February. Since 2016 AdreN had been playing for Gambit Esports, with them he placed first at PGL Major Krakow 2017 and won multiple other LAN-events, including Adrenaline Cyber League 2016, DreamHack Open Winter 2016, DreamHack Open Austin 2017 and ROG Masters 2017. YNk, who for the last three months had been coaching MIBR, will replace Robert "RobbaN" Dahlström as the team’s head coach, who recently stepped down from this position due to personal reasons. RobbaN had been coaching the team since its inception in early 2016, he will remain in the organization in another role.

Earlier the organization had benched Finn "karrigan" Andersen, who later was transferred to Team Envy on loan.
