G2 Esports Parts Ways with Shox

The longstanding member of G2 Esports CS:GO roster Richard "shox" Papillon has left the team. It remains unknown who will replace the player and where shox will continue his career.

Shox has been playing for G2 Esports since 2016. The most successful year for the team was 2017, when they managed to place first at DreamHack Open Tours 2017, ESL Pro League Season 5 Finals, and DreamHack Malmo 2017, while the last few years have not been so successful. This year the team secured a top-1 finish at Good Game League 2019 and a top-2 finish at ESL Pro League Season 9 Finals. They also attended two major tournaments – the team placed 12-14th at IEM XIII – Katowice Major 2019 and 9-11th at StarLadder Berlin Major 2019.
