G2 Esports Signs Two New Players and a Coach for their CS:GO Roster
The European club G2 Esports has announced significant changes in their Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster. The organization has signed two ex-3DMAX players Lucas "Lucky" Chastang and Audric "JaCkz" Jug. In addition to that, Damien "maLeK" Marcel becomes the team’s new coach.
Both Lucky and JaCkz has been playing together in another French team 3DMAX since June 2018. The roster placed first at ESEA Season 28: Premier Division – Europe, 2nd at Grand Hotshots #1 and 3rd-4th at Hellcase Cup #7.
To make space for the new players, Kevin "Ex6TenZ" Droolans and Edouard "SmithZz" Dubourdeaux were moved to the bench. SmithZz, who joined the organization in 2016 and worked as both player and coach, has already stated that he will take a break from competitive CS:GO.
The organization’s management mentioned that due to regulatory requirements, G2 Esports will play with Ex6TenZ at ESL Pro League Finals, which will be held on December 4th – 9th, while SmithZz and JaCkz will play for 3DMAX at ESEA Season 29: Global Challenge, which will take place on December 7th – 9th.
