Line-up for DreamHack Open Winter 2018 Has Been Finalized

The organizers of the upcoming Counter-Strike: Global Offensive event DreamHack Open Winter 2018 have revealed the last team that received a direct invitation to the event – Team LDLC.com.

Overall the tournament will feature eight participants: six of them accepted direct invites from the organizers, including compLexity Gaming, ENCE eSports, G2 Esports, Heroic, Team LDLC.com and OpTic Gaming. The remaining two teams made it through the regional qualifiers – x6ence Galaxy qualified from Europe and Bravado Gaming will represent the North American region. These teams have been seeded into two GSL groups as follows:

During the group stage, the opening and winners’ matches will be best-of-one, while the elimination and decider matches will be best-of-three. In the first matches of Group A compLexity Gaming will face x6tence Galaxy, while Team LDLC.com will play with Heroic. In Group B OpTic Gaming will compete with Bravado Gaming, while ENCE eSports will stand up against G2 Esports.

The group stage will determine four participants of the single-elimination playoffs bracket, where all matches will be best-of-three.

The event will take place on November 30th – December 2nd at Elmia Convention Center in Jönköping, Sweden. The prize pool of the event is set at $100,000, the winner will get half its half.
