Paris Saint-Germain eSports Announces Partnership with LGD Gaming
An esports department of the well-known football club Paris Saint-Germain has announced a partnership with the Chinese powerhouse LGD Gaming. From now on, its Dota 2 team will play under the name PSG.LGD.
The signed roster in its current state was presented in January 2018, and is currently one of the most powerful teams not only in China, but in the entire professional scene as well. The roster includes Wang ”Ame” Chunyu, Lu ”Somnus丶M” Yao, Yang ”Chalice” Shenyi, Xu “fy” Linsen, Jian Wei ”xNova-“ Yap and is coached by Yao ”QQQ” Yi. The team is at the 8th place of Dota Pro Circuit rankings with 1821 qualification points gained towards The International 2018. Recently it managed to qualify for EPICENTER XL and placed second at Dota 2 Asia Championship 2018.
Paris Saint-Germain is a football club located in the city of Paris, it was founded in 1970. It created its esports department in 2016. In addition to its newly acquired Dota 2 roster, PSG eSports is currently represented in Rocket League and FIFA.
