PLG Grand Slam 2018 Line-Up Finalized

The Jordanian team Chosen5 have received the last direct invite to PLG Grand Slam, finalizing the line-up of the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive event with a $100,000 prize pool. It will be held next month in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The tournament will feature 16 participating teams. Half of them received direct invites, including Fnatic, G2 Esports, HellRaisers, NASR eSports, Energy Esports, TyLoo, AVANGAR and Chosen5; the other half made it through the regional qualifiers, among them are forZe (Europe), INTZ eSports (North America), Sharks Esports (South America), Greyhound Gaming (Oceania), 5Power Gaming (East Asia), B.O.O.T-dream[S]cape (Southeast Asia), ShotCallers (Persia) and GUCCIGANGxD (Africa).

The competition will be held from December 12th – December 15th. First, the competitors will be split into four GSL groups, where initial and winners matches will be best-of-one, and elimination matches will be best-of-three. Then top two teams from each group will advance to the single-elimination playoffs bracket with best-of-three series.
