Preview of ESL One New York 2018
Although FACEIT Major: London 2018 has concluded only few days ago, another premier CS:GO event is already just around the corner. ESL One New York 2018 begins on September 26th and will feature eight top-tier teams competing for their share of a $250,000 prize pool as well as a point towards Intel Grand Slam.
The tournament’s line-up includes six invited teams – FaZe Clan, Fnatic, G2 Esports, Team Liquid, mousesports and Natus Vincere, as well as two qualified teams – Gambit Esports and NRG Esports.
The event will begin with a group stage that will last for three days. The participating teams have been seeded in two GSL groups based on ESL CS:GO World Rankings. All matches within the group stage will be best-of-three, with top two teams from each group advancing to the playoffs.
