SK Gaming Take First Place at ESL Pro League Season 6

The sixth season of the ESL Pro League series has concluded with another victory of SK Gaming. In the Grand Finals they defeated FaZe Clan with the 3-1 score.

The tournament featured 12 teams. First, they were placed into two groups of six with the round-robin format. Top three teams from each group advanced to the single-elimination playoffs bracket. The results of the group stage looked as follows:

Both finalists placed first in their groups, which guaranteed them a slot in the semifinals, both of which ended with a 2-0 score: FaZe Clan defeated Fnatic, while SK Gaming outplayed Misfits. The Grand Finals ended with the 3-1 score in the favor of SK Gaming, granting them $225,000 in prize money. It should be noted, that only few weeks ago SK Gaming won at another major CS:GO tournament – BLAST: Pro Series.
