SK Gaming to Replace Natus Vincere at Adrenaline Cyber League
Natus Vincere, who were directly invited to Adrenaline Cyber League, decided to not take part in the tournament due to a busy schedule. They will be replaced by SK Gaming.
At the event SK Gaming will compete with Gambit Esports and Virtus.pro, who were invited to the event earlier. The third participant of the tournament will be determined by the results of the closed qualifier. The following teams will have a chance to secure their spot at the LAN-event: AVANGAR, Team Kinguin, Quantum Bellator Fire, Team Spirit, Vega Squadron, Windigo Academy, KPI Gaming, and Asterion.
The main event will take place on May 23-24 at Adrenaline Stadium in Moscow, Russia. The prize pool is set at $100,000. The format of the competition hasn’t been revealed yet. Last year the teams competed in a single-elimination bracket with best-of-three series. Then Virtus.pro defeated Natus Vincere (2-1) in the grand finals to secure the champion’s title and $65,000 in prize money.
