Team Empire Presented their New Roster
Team Empire, an esports organization based in Russia, has revealed its roster for the upcoming Dota Pro Circuit season. The roster is based around Yaroslav "Miposhka" Naidenov, who is the only player from the previous roster and will continue to captain the team, although on a new position – Miposhka, who earlier used to play as a full support, has moved to offlane.
Aside from Miposhka, the new roster includes Zaur "Cooman" Shakhmurzaev, Vladimir "Chappie" Kuzmenko, Oleg "sayuw" Kalenbet, and Igor "Maden" Modenov. In addition to that, Egor "JotM" Surkov is back to the coach position. Cooman, the new carry of the team, earlier played for multiple CIS-teams, including Gambit Esports, Effect and Double Dimension. Chappie, the team’s mid player, has already performed under Team Empire’s banners in 2017, with this team he qualified for The International 2017, but was unable to attend the event due to visa issues. sayuw, position 4 player, is a new player to the professional scene. Maden has been playing professionally since 2014 in multiple tier-2 CIS teams, including Elements Pro Gaming, Effect, PENTA and Comance.
The previous Team Empire roster did not attend The International 2018 as they failed to qualify from the group stage of CIS qualifiers with the score of 2-5 and placed 5-8th.
