Team Envy Defeats Natus Vincere in the Finals of Paladins World Championship 2019

Team Envy defeated Natus Vincere in the grand finals of the $300,000 event Paladins World Championship 2019, that was held this weekend in Atlanta, United States.

The tournament’s line-up consisted of eight teams. Natus Vincere and Ninjas in Pyjamas represented the European region, while Team Envy and G2 Esports qualified to the event from the North American league. The other four participants, among which were Fnatic, Spacestation Gaming, Kanga Esports and Virtus.pro, made it through the qualifier tournament. These teams competed in a single-elimination playoffs bracket with best-of-five quarterfinals and best-of-seven semifinals and grand finals.

On their way to the grand finals Natus Vincere defeated Virtus.pro (3:1) and Fnatic (4:1), while Team Envy outplayed Kanga Esports (3:0) and Spacestation Gaming (4:3). In the final series Team Envy defeated the European roster of Natus Vincere with the 4-2 score.
