BIG: Nex and Smooya Replaced by SyrsoN and K1to

German esports organization BIG has announced changes in their CS:GO roster – the team parted ways with two players, Johannes "nex" Maget and Owen "smooya" Butterfield – they will be replaced by Florian "syrsoN" Rische and Nils "k1to" Gruhne. Besides that, Fatih "gob b" Dayik replaced Nikola "LEGIJA" Ninić as the head of the team.

Two new players – syrsoN and k1to – have already played together: first in ALTARNATE aTTaX and then recently in Sprout, where they placed 1st at ESL Meisterschaft: Winter 2019, 2nd at DreamHack Open Atlanta 2019 and 3rd-4th at ESEA Season 31: Global Challenge.

BIG’s recent results left much to be desired – they placed 15-16th at IEM XIII – Katowice Major 2019 and failed to qualify for StarLadder Berlin Major 2019. Recently the team finished ESL Pro League Season 10 – Europe at the 11-12th place, barely saving their spot in the next season. In December they attended two LAN-events – DreamHack Open Sevilla 2019 and Champions Cup Finals – and placed 7-8th at both of them.
