Dota Plus – New Subscription Model for Dota 2

Valve presented a new subscription model for Dota 2 called simply Dota Plus, which from now on will replace Battle Passes. It costs 4$ per month and has no time limits.

Dota Plus has many features to offer. One of the main features is the new hero progression system – you earn experience by simply playing the game, each time one of your heroes gets to a new level you receive special shards, which can be used to buy various cosmetic items. The other huge addition is the personal assistants, which is designed to help you learn the game and improve – it suggests which heroes to pick, which items to buy, which abilities and talents to select depending on the situation you are in. Dota Plus offers various other perks, such as free participation in weekly battle cups and free access to seasonal terrains. The full list of features is presented below.
