DOTA Summit 11 Preview: Group Seeds, Schedule and Format
This weekend in Los Angeles begins the first event of Dota Pro Circuit 2019/20 – DOTA Summit 11, which will feature 8 teams competing for a $300,000 prize pool and 660 DPC points. Moreover, the winner of the event will qualify for MDL Chengdu Major.
The tournament’s line-up consists of eight teams representing six regions: jfshfh178 (replacing Virtus.pro) and HellRaisers from CIS, Ninjas in Pyjamas and Ad Finem from Europe, Invictus Gaming from China, Geek Family from Southeast Asia, Quincy Crew from North America, and paiN Gaming from South America.
The group stage will be played on November 7th-8th, where participants will compete in two GSL groups with best-of-three series. The teams have been seeded into the groups as follows:

The playoffs stage will be played on November 9th-10th and feature a double-elimination bracket, where all regular matches will be best-of-three while the grand finals will be best-of-five. The winner of the event will get $72,000 in prize money and 140 DPC points, as well as an invitation to MDL Chengdu Major, which will take place in China later this month, on November 16-24th.
