ENCE Defeated Astralis in the Grand Finals of BLAST Pro Series: Madrid 2019
The Finnish team ENCE has emerged victorious at BLAST Pro Series: Madrid 2019 after defeating Astralis with the 2-0 score in the finals of the $250,000 CS:GO event.
Both finalists shared the first place in group stage – ENCE outplayed Na`Vi (16:4), Cloud9 (16:11), Astralis (16:13), and Giants (16:14), as well as lost to NiP (5:16). As for Astralis, the Danes defeated NiP (16:8), Giants (16:7), Natus Vincere (16:13), and Cloud9 (16:11), as well as lost to ENCE. In the final series ENCE emerged victorious at both maps – Nuke (16:9) and Train (16:13). In the Pro Standoff showmatch Ninjas in Pyjamas outplayed Giants Gaming with the 3-2 score.
BLAST Pro Series: Madrid 2019 was held on May 10th – 11th. The event featured six team competing for a $250,000 prize pool. First, they competed in a single group with round-robin format and best-of-one series. Then top two teams advanced to the best-of-three grand finals, while the team placed third was able to choose their opponent for a 1v1 duel showmatch.
