GLL Apex Legends Series with $50,000 at Stake Announced

Global Loot League, a tournament organizer mainly known for their PUBG events, has announced an Apex Legends online event that will be held this month in North America and Europe and feature a combined prize pool of $50,000.

GLL Apex Legends Series will begin with regional qualifiers, which are scheduled for December 6th-8th, where teams will play usual matches with the goal of getting the highest number of kills within a set period of time. Best ten teams from each region will compete in the finals.

The event’s organizers have already announced ten invited teams per region. The list of participants looks as follows:

Both regional finals will be played on December 14th-16th and each will feature a $25,000 prize pool. The finals will be played using custom private lobbies, but the detailed format of the competition remains unknown.

Earlier in September Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment organized the first official Apex Legends event Preseason Invitational, where Team SoloMid placed first and won $105,000 in prize money.
