Mixwell Quits CS:GO to Join G2’s Valorant Roster

The 24-years-old Spanish player Oscar "mixwell" Cañellas Colocho has ended his Counter-Strike: Global Offensive career. The player was signed by G2 Esports to become the first member and the leader of their VALORANT roster.

Mixwell has been competing since 2012. His most successful team was OpTic Gaming, for which he played between 2016 and 2018. With them he became the champion of ELEAGUE Season 2 and Northern Arena 2016. Throughout his career he also played for Epsilon Esports, G2 Esports, Movistar Riders and Cloud9.

Mixwell started competing in Valorant this April. The player has already managed to win several online events, including Twitch Rivals: VALORANT Launch Showdown Europe #1, where he competed alongside other CS:GO players William "draken" Sundin, Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom, Jacob "pyth" Mourujärvi, and Ardis "ardiis" Svarenieks.
