Natus Vincere Bench Guardian to Sign Perfecto
Natus Vincere have benched their AWP-player Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács and bought out Ilya "Perfecto" Zalutskiy from the Kazakh organization Syman Gaming. The new player will fulfil the rifler role, while Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev will switch back to the sniper position.
20-years-old Russian player Perfecto is relatively new to the professional scene. For over a year he had been playing for Syman Gaming. With them he won “silver” at CIS Minor Championship – Berlin 2019, qualifying for the StarLadder Berlin Major. However, the team failed to advance from the Challengers Stage and placed 17-19th at the major. This December the team also attended an offline Chinese competition NEST Pro Series 2019, where placed first after defeating TyLoo in the grand finals.
Guardian returned to Natus Vincere last September, following the departure of Danylo "Zeus" Teslenko. During this time the team failed to win a single event, with their most recent results being 5-6th place at EPICENTER 2019, 3rd-4th place at ESL Pro League Season 10 – Finals and 3rd place at BLAST Pro Series: Copenhagen 2019.
The updated roster of Na`Vi will debut at GG.Bet Ice Challenge 2020, scheduled for February 1st-6th. They will compete for a $250,000 prize pool with such teams as ENCE, Heroic, Virtus.pro, GODSENT, mousesports, OG and MAD Lions.
