FaZe Clan, G2 Esports, SK Gaming, Astralis, Team Liquid, mousesports, Natus Vincere and Renegades made it to the playoffs, where they continued the competition in a single-elimination bracket with best-of-three series and a 3rd place match. Natus Vincere started their way to the finals by defeating Astralis, then proceeded to the semifinals vs FaZe Clan, which concluded 2-1 in their favour. In the other part of the bracket mousesports defeated G2 Esports (2-0) and Team Liquid (2-1). In the grand finals all three maps were played. Overpass, which was picked by Natus Vincere, concluded with the 16-7 score in the favour of the Ukrainian team. Meanwhile mouz were straggling to win their pick – Mirage – as the teams played two overtimes, but ultimately mouz managed to secure their map as Na`Vi were showing a horrific absence of understanding how to play T-side and deal with chrisJ and his AWP in the middle. The third game was played on Train, which is considered a good map for both teams. This time Natus Vincere didn’t manage to show decent performance, and mousesports managed to win 16-9 and close the series 2-1 in their favour, receiving $130,000 in prize money. Despite losing in the Grand Finals, s1mple was awarded an MVP status. As for the match for the third place, it was won by Team Liquid with the 2-1 score.
