StarLadder to Host a $100,000 PUBG Tournament in Kiev
StarLadder and ImbaTV will host a PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds tournament with a $100,000 prize pool. The finals will be held on March 1-4 in Kiev, Ukraine.
The tournament will feature 16 teams of 4 players that will compete using the first-person perspective. The teams will be invited by the organizers and will represent 8 regions:

- South America (1)
StarLadder is a Ukrainian esports organization, which is well-known for their Dota 2 and CS:GO tournaments. With this event they enter the scene of a new and fast-growing esport discipline – PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.
Previous major PUBG tournament – IEM Oakland PUBG Invitational – was held in November and featured a $200,000 prize pool. The teams also competed in a FPP Squad mode, with both placements and kills granting tournament points. The championship title went to AAA Gaming, while Tempo Storm and Ghost Gaming placed second and third respectively.
