DOTA Summit 10 Postponed to 2019

The event host Beyond the Summit has announced that their Dota 2 tournament The Summit 10 is postponed to 2019 as the organizers ran into issues with confirming participants.

Initially the event was planned to be held on December 12-16 and was not part of the current Dota Pro Circuit. The organizers have never revealed the invited teams, but they hosted two qualifier tournaments in North America and Southeast Asia won by Forward Gaming and Fnatic respectively. Forward Gaming withdrew from DOTA Summit 10 on November 12th.

Beyond the Summit have been hosting Dota 2 events since 2014. The last event was held on July 25-29, 2018. In the grand finals Evil Geniuses defeated Fnatic with the 3-0 score, receiving $40,000 in prize money.
