Evil Geniuses Returns to CS Scene by Signing NRG Roster

The North American organization Evil Geniuses has announced its return to the professional Counter-Strike scene – for the last few months they have been engaged in negotiations with another North American organization NRG Esports, which ultimately led to the entire roster transferring to EG.

The roster consists of Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz, Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte, Cvetelin "CeRq" Dimitrov, Ethan "Ethan" Arnold and Tarik "tarik" Celik, with Chet "ImAPet" Singh being its coach. Since the team acquired stanislaw this June, the team managed to qualify for StarLadder Berlin Major 2019, where they finished 3rd-4th. The team also placed 5-6th at ESL One: Cologne 2016 and 3rd at BLAST Pro Series: Los Angeles 2019. Currently they are rated top-4 team in the world.

Evil Geniuses was founded in 1999. The organization shut down their CS roster in 2012, even before the launch of Global Offensive. Currently the organization also has rosters in Dota 2 and Rainbow Six: Siege.
