Keen Gaming to Represent China at ESL One Birmingham 2019
Keen Gaming will represent the Chinese region at the upcoming Dota 2 event ESL One Birmingham 2019. In the grand finals of the local qualifier they defeated Invictus Gaming with the score of 3-1.
Keen Gaming have reached the grand finals without losing a single map – they outplayed Royal (2-0) and Invictus Gaming (2-0). In the grand finals Keen Gaming had a one-map advantage thanks to making it through the upper bracket. In the final series Keen Gaming emerged victorious at the first and third maps.
Earlier the qualifier has completed in Southeast Asia. The European event – GG.Bet Birmingham Invitational – will end tomorrow. The final of the North American qualifier is scheduled for today and will feature compLexity Gaming competing with Forward Gaming. The following teams received direct invites to the main event: Vici Gaming, Virtus.pro, Ninjas in Pyjamas, OG, PSG.LGD, Team Liquid, Evil Geniuses and Team Secret.
ESL One Birmingham will be held on May 28th – June 2nd and feature 12 teams competing for a $300,000 prize pool.
