New Immortals Roster: MSS Out, Velo and Ryoya In

Immortals Dota 2 roster, which just a few weeks ago parted ways with its carry player Kim "QO" Seon-yeop, decided to release Arif "MSS" Anwar from his contract and sign two new players – Eric “Ryoya” Dong and Taesung “Velo” Kim.

Eric "Ryoya" Dong is an American player who started his career in 2014 and participated in various North American teams, including Team Archon, Void Boys, compLexity Gaming and, most recently, VGJ.Storm. He joined Immortals as a midlane player, meaning that Pyo "MP" No-a will become the new carry of the roster. The Australian player Taesung “Velo” Kim will replace Arif "MSS" Anwar on the offlane. Previously he played for both MVP HOT6ix and MVP Phoenix, which makes him familiar with the Korean core of the roster – Pyo "MP" No-a, Kim "Febby" Yong-min and Kim "DuBu" Doo-young.

Joshua Arkin, Manager of Immortals Dota 2 Team, commented on the changes:

“Ryoya and Velo are both younger talents eager to prove themselves on a bigger stage. I’m excited to watch our team grow stronger together as we head into the final roster lock period before The International.”
