Newbee to Replace PSG.LGD at MDL Macau 2019

The Chinese Dota 2 team PSG.LGD decided to withdraw from MDL Macau 2019 due to one of their players, Yang ”Chalice” Shenyi, having health issues. Another Chinese club Newbee

Newbee will play at the event with Wen "awen" Lipeng instead of Thiay "JT-" Jun Wen, who joined the team this January on loan. Awen is currently signed by Mr Game Boy, earlier he played for Newbee.M and Newbee Young.

PSG.LGD earlier announced that their mid player Lu ”Somnus丶M” Yao decided to take a break from competitive play and was replaced by Guo "Xm" Hongcheng from CDEC Gaming.

MDL Macau 2019 is scheduled for February 20-24. Eight teams – Virtus.pro, Team Liquid, Evil Geniuses, EHOME, Newbee, Vici Gaming, Royal Never Give Up and Invictus Gaming – will compete for their share of a $300,000 prize pool.
