SyndereN and Illidan Registered a Team
Troels Lyngholt "syndereN" Nielsen, a popular Dota 2 player and caster, has registered a new team for the upcoming season. The team is currently named HAPPY GUYS and consists of European players, among which are Ilya "Illidan" Pivcaev, Kyryl "Kzar" Stepanets, Joni "Buugi" Fält and Mohammad "AfrOmoush" Abu Al Eis.
The most recent team of syndereN was Mad Lads, which disbanded in August 2018. Earlier he played for No Diggity, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Escape Gaming, mousesports and others. He will captain the team and play on position 5. Illidan, the team’s carry player, is mainly known for his time in Virtus.pro in 2015, when they placed 5-6th at TI5. In the previous season he played for Team Spirit, a team that placed second at almost all CIS closed qualifiers for DPC events, just a step away from qualifying. Eventually they did manage to attend ESL One Birmingham 2018 and China Dota2 Supermajor, where they placed 7-9th and 13-16th respectively. Kzar is a Ukrainian player who is new to the professional scene, he will play on the middle lane. Buugi is a Finnish player, who earlier played for PENTA Sports, Prodota Gaming and 4 Anchors + Sea Captain. AfrOmoush is a 21-years-old support player from Jordan who earlier played for Clutch Gamers and WarriorsGaming.Unity.
The team will play in the European region. They already participated in the first open qualifier for Kuala Lumpur Major, in the quarterfinals they lost to Burden United with the score of 1-2.
