TOX Gaming Wins Halo Championship Series Finals 2018

This weekend concluded the final event of the 2018 HCS season Halo Championship Series Finals 2018. In the grand finals TOX Gaming defeated Team Reciprocity with the 4-0 score, receiving $120,000 in prize money.

In the playoffs stage TOX Gaming defeated Mentality Esports (3:1) in the quarterfinals and Renegades (3:2) in the semifinals, but lost to Team Reciprocity (3:4) in the Winners Bracket finals. In the lower bracket the North American team faced Renegades once again, this time finishing the series with the 3-1 score in their favour. In the grand finals TOX Gaming avenged their previous loss and managed to win the best-of-seven series without losing a single map.

The event was held on November 16-18th at Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, United States. Overall the tournament featured 73 teams, including ones from the open bracket. They competed for the $300,000 prize pool. Halo Championship Series Finals 2018 was the final HCS event for Halo 5.
