Virtus.pro Ceases Competition of their CS:GO Roster
The Russian esports organization Virtus.pro has announced that their Polish Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster will cease to compete until further notice. Jarosław "pashaBiceps" Jarząbkowski has already hinted at his social pages that he may retire.
Virtus.pro management decided to cease any competitive activities of their roster due to the latest results. Recently the team failed to make it through the relegation to ESL Pro League Season 8 – Europe, as well as placed last in the closed qualifiers for Europe Minor Championship – Katowice 2019. General manager of Virtus.pro Roman Dvoryankin explained that their plan is to build a roster around young players and that we can expect news by the end of the year.
The current Virtus.pro roster was formed this September, when Piotr "morelz" Taterka replaced Paweł "byali" Bieliński. During this period the team placed 5th at BLAST Pro Series: Istanbul 2018, 3rd at EPICENTER 2018 – Wild Card, 5-6th at SuperNova Malta 2018 and ESEA Season 29: Global Challenge.
