BTS Ban MIBR’s Coach Dead for Bug Abuse
BTS Ban MIBR’s Coach Dead for Bug Abuse
The American tournament operator Beyond the Summit has banned the coach and manager of MIBR Ricardo "dead" Sinigaglia for a bug abuse. Earlier Sinigaglia was also banned by ESL for the same reason.
BST with the help of CS:GO referee Michal Slowinski have found out that dead knowingly used the camera bug during cs_summit 6, namely during the match against Triumph within the third round of the lower bracket, which ended with the 2-1 score in MIBR favour.
In response to that, the tournament operator decided to ban dead for the next two events hosted by Beyond the Summit. Besides that, MIBR will be retroactively disqualified from cs_summit 6 and forfeit the prize money. Thus, the team will lose their 7-8th place and $2,500. MIBR can still appeal the ruling.
Earlier MIBR already suspended dead and started an internal investigation due to the ESL accusations. Amid the scandal, the team performed extremely poorly at Eden Arena: Malta Vibes #10, where they finished last after losing to PACT (13:16) and Galaxy Racer Esports (2-0).
