HellRaisers Present Updated Dota 2 Roster with Funn1k
HellRaisers have announced their updated roster. Alexander "Nix" Levin and Yaroslav "Miposhka" Naidenov are the only two players of the former roster who will remain in the new squad. Among new players are Gleb "Funn1k" Lipatnikov, Arslan "xannii" Shadjanov and Georgiy "Gilgir" Svistunov.
The return of the Ukrainian organization HellRaisers to the Dota 2 scene has been a bumpy one. The team led by Yaroslav "Miposhka" Naidenov was formed in September, and initially also included Alik "V-Tune" Vorobey, Alexander "Nix" Levin, Dmitry "DM" Dorokhin, and Ilya "ALOHADANCE" Korobkin. The first iteration of the team managed to qualify for DOTA Summit 11, where they placed 3rd.
However in November the team parted ways with three players – ALOHADANCE, V-Tune and DM, who were eventually replaced by Nikita "Elmo" Lomanov, Oleg "sayuw" Kalenbet and Pavel "bowbowbow" Mostakov. This roster failed to make it through the latest qualifiers and placed 5-8th at Maincast Winter Brawl.
The new players were selected by the team’s carry Alexander "Nix" Levin. Funn1k, who is mainly known for his time in Natus Vincere in 2013-2015, lately has been playing for Aachen City Esports. Xannii is a 19-years-old midlaner from Russia, who earlier played for Vega Squadron and Team Unique. The team’s new semi-support Gilgir is a Russian player new to the professional scene.
