PUBG PTS Update 7.1: Vikendi Overhaul and New Survivor Pass
PUBG Corp. have released Update 7.1 for Public Test Server that, when launched on Live Servers, will mark the start of Season 7. The update features a major overhaul of Vikendi, a new Survivor Pass and a new weapon variant. The main changes of the update are following:
- Vikendi Rework:
- Snow cover reduced, especially on the southern areas of the map
- Added trains that move along six tracks across Vikendi and temporarily stop at stations
- Snowbikes and Snowmobiles removed, replaced by Motorcycles and Motorcycle with sidecar
- Location changes: Cargo Depot added, Dino Park replaced with Dinoland, Abbey relocated to Mount Kreznik, Tovar and Movatra removed
- General map optimization
- Map Selection: Europe, Russia and Southeast Asia will be able to select Vikendi or any other map individually, while in North America Vikendi will be in the featured map option, while all other maps will be in a separate random map queue
- Survivor Pass Cold Front with new challenges and rewards
- Survival Title System removed, expected to be replaced with a new system that will be released alongside the new Competitive Mode
- New weapon Mosin-Nagant, which shares stats with Kar98k
- Performance improvements and bug fixes
