IEM Season XIII Shanghai Line-up Finalized

The regional qualifiers for Intel Extreme Masters Season XII – Shanghai have concluded in China, Asia and Australis/New Zealand, finalizing the line-up for the upcoming Counter-Strike: Global Offensive event with $250,000 at stake.

Each qualifier featured six teams competing for a single spot at the main event in a single-elimination bracket with best-of-three regular matches and best-of-five grand finals. 5Power Gaming emerged victorious in the Chinese qualifier, while B.O.O.T-dream[S]cape and Grayhound Gaming managed to win the Asian and ANZ qualifiers respectively. These three teams will travel to Shanghai in the beginning of August to compete with five invited teams for their share of a $250,000 prize pool.

The main event will be held on July 1-6 at Shanghai New International Expo Center. Despite having a $250,000 prize pool, the tournament is not part of Intel Grand Slam due to being held during the player break.
