OG’s Ana Takes a Longer Break from Competitive Dota 2

The International 2018 champions OG have announced that their position 1/2 player Anathan "ana" Pham decided to take a longer break from competitive Dota 2 and will not play in the 2018/19 season. The Australian player will be moved to reserve, while the team will participate in the upcoming qualifiers for the Chongqing Major with a stand-in, which will be announced later.

Ana joined OG just a few months before The International after the team’s former captain Tal "Fly" Aizik and their offlaner Gustav "s4" Magnusson had left the team to join Evil Geniuses. To qualify for The International 2018 the team made it through both open and closed qualifiers in Europe. At TI8 the team made it all the way through the upper bracket and defeated PSG.LGD in the grand finals with the 3-2 score. Earlier Ana also played for OG in the 2016/17 season. With him the team emerged victorious at both The Boston Major 2016 and The Kiev Major 2017, as well as placed 7-8th at The International 2017.
