StarLadder to Host its Second PUBG Event

StarLadder has revealed that the company will continue to organize PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds events. The second season of StarSeries i-League PUBG will feature 24 teams competing for a $100,000 prize pool and will take place by the end of summer.

The second season will consist of two stages, both of them will be held offline. The group stage will take place on August 25-28, it will feature 16 teams and determine 8 participants of the finals, which will be held on August 30 – September 2. In the final stage eight teams qualified from the group stage will face another eight teams that will be directly invited to this stage based on their performance in the first season. Overall we can expect 24 matches during the group stage and 24 matches during the finals. The location remains unknown.

The inaugural season of StarSeries i-League PUBG was held at Kiev Cybersport Arena in the capital of Ukraine on March 1-4. Sixteen teams competed for a $50,000 prize pool. FaZe Clan placed first, followed by Team Liquid and Team Vitality.
