Vega Squadron Parted Ways With G
Vega Squadron loses yet another player – Sergey "G" Bragin decided to not renew his contract with the organization and thus has become a free agent.
Sergey "G" Bragin is a veteran of the scene, who started his career back in the Dota AllStars days in 2010. Since then he has participated in four The International tournaments and played for various notable organizations, such as LGD, Virtus.pro, and Team Empire. He joined Vega Squadron in late 2016, together they attended three LAN-events: DreamLeague Season 7, SL i-League Invitational #2, and The Perfect World Masters.
Georgy "drAmer" Faleev, Vega Squadron Esports Director, commented on the decision:
Unfortunately, Vega Squadron’s and G’s paths diverge, by mutual agreement the parties decided not to renew the contract. I sincerely hope that these changes will benefit both the “Sharks” and Sergei. The renewed team will first appear on scene on the nearest ESL One qualifiers already in the first days of January 2018.
Earlier Vega Squadron excluded two players from its roster – Vasily "AfterLife" Shishkin and Bakyt "Zayac" Emilzhanov, replacing them with two stand-ins Nikita "Palantimos" Grinkevich and Džoni "Blizzy" Ri.
Vega Squadron:
- Nikita "Palantimos" Grinkevich (stand-in)
- Džoni "Blizzy" Ri (stand-in)
- Ilya "ALOHADANCE" Korobkin
- Semion "CemaTheSlayer" Krivulya (captain)
